Baghdad, Iraq – September 24, 2025 – Intercontinental Aviation Enterprise (IAE), through its FlyIAA Iraq branch, has officially entered a landmark partnership with the American University of Iraq – Baghdad (AUIB) to launch a series of premier aviation courses, beginning with the Fundamentals of Aviation program under the university’s Center of Excellence for Innovation and Development (CEID).The signing ceremony, held at AUIB’s Baghdad campus, was attended by Captain Wissam Al Mehyou, CEO of IAE and Chairman of FlyIAA Global, and Dr. Bradley J. Cook, President of AUIB, among distinguished guests.

This strategic collaboration represents a transformative step in expanding access to world-class aviation education in Iraq. The program is designed to equip aspiring aviation professionals and enthusiasts with a comprehensive foundation in aviation principles, preparing them for successful careers in the industry.Registration will open in the coming weeks, with classes set to commenceshortly thereafter.

Graduates of the joint FlyIAA–AUIB programs will receive dual qualifications fromboth esteemed institutions and gain direct access to FlyIAA’s state-of-the-art pilot training academies in the UAE, Lebanon, Cyprus, and Greece. There, students can pursue advanced flight training and professional pilot licenses, providing a seamless pathway from academic knowledge to hands-on, career-ready aviation expertise.
